Aggies hope to turn back clock in regional opener versus Baylor

Texas A&M limped to the finish of the regular season and SEC Tournament but is looking to return to its April form as it opens the Houston Regional. The Ags will take on the Baylor Bears and attempt to avenge a painful loss from earlier this season.

The way coach Rob Childress sees it, Texas A&M can be successful in the Houston regional of the NCAA baseball playoffs if they do what they did earlier in the season. But not THAT much earlier.

Childress said the third-seeded Aggies (36-21), who face two-seed Baylor (34-21) on Friday afternoon, must play like they did in April when they went 14-3 and at one point posted six consecutive victories.
