Cinderella Story: Aggies, Wildcats look to continue unlikely playoff runs

Both Texas A&M and Davidson are a bit surprised to be in the College Station Super Regional this weekend, but each team is ready to seize the opportunity to advance to the College World Series. As usual for the Aggies, pitching and defense will determine the outcome.

All who follow college baseball know a “Cinderella” team is featured in the College Station Super Regional.

But is it Davidson, which is making its first NCAA playoff appearance, or Texas A&M, which barely squeezed into the tournament field? Or is it both? Is the Super Regional that begins Friday at Blue Bell Park a Twinderella series?

Indeed, there could be discussion that both Davidson (35-24) and A&M (39-21) are playing the Cinderella role.
