Nick Fitzgerald was a total unknown at the beginning of last season before exploding for over 3,700 total yards. Finding themselves in much the same situation this year, Texas A&M's quarterbacks can follow the Bulldog starter's path to success.

HOOVER, Ala. — In rare instances, encouragement and discouragement can come from the same source. For example, Aggies were greatly discouraged by Nick Fitzgerald’s strong performance in Mississippi State’s 35-28 Southeastern Conference football upset of Texas A&M in 2016.

But now they could glean encouragement from it in 2017.
