Aggies send Muschamp, Gamecocks packing with fourth quarter surge

Texas A&M played inconsistent football for three quarters on Saturday, but put it all together in the fourth and secured its second SEC win of the season. With the victory, the Aggies took another step forward and improved to 4-1 on the year.

Forty-five minutes of playing time had elapsed. Then, South Carolina football coach Will Muschamp – the man who hates College Station – raised four fingers to welcome the fourth quarter.

He should have just held up a thumb.

Hitchhiking out of town might have been the only way he and his Gamecocks could have avoided the fourth quarter butt-kicking that Texas A&M administered in a 24-17 Southeastern Conference victory Saturday night at Kyle Field.
