  • I think we can all acknowledge that the SEC is not the deep conference it had been for many years. In 2012, we had five or six teams that were in the top 10 during the season. Now we only have a few teams. It’s Alabama, Georgia and Auburn, and that’s about it. Frankly, there are more teams where coaches are worried about their jobs than there are top 20 teams.

  • The player talent hasn’t changed. The coaches just aren’t maximizing it.
