The Aggies led early, but the Crimson Tide proved too much to handle on Saturday night at Kyle Field in a 27-19 victory over Texas A&M. The Aggie defense and special teams kept A&M in the game with a strong second half performance.

Top-ranked Alabama (6-0) made the key plays in the final minutes to hold off a Texas A&M comeback bid and deal the Aggies a 27-19 Southeastern Conference football loss Saturday night at Kyle Field.

Freshman quarterback Kellen Mond at times was dazzling in bringing the Aggies back into contention from a 21-point deficit.
