Texas A&M Hoops eyeing big year, tournament run with loaded roster

NASHVILLE — Surrounded by a gaggle of reporters at the Omni Hotel, Texas A&M basketball coach Billy Kennedy — in khaki pants and a maroon A&M sweater — appeared comfortable and relaxed.

That’s good. Kennedy needs to be comfortable in a crowd. Successful basketball coaches tend to draw a lot of attention, particularly in March.

Texas A&M is projected to have a highly-successful season.
