Texas A&M football coach Kevin Sumlin seemed to exude confidence for the rest of the season because of the rest of the season.

During his weekly press conference on Tuesday, Sumlin indicated that moves designed to provide more rest for starters are paying off for the Aggies (5-2), who also got a break from an open date last weekend. Giving starters more rest and backups more playing time may better equip the Aggies for the demands of the remainder of the season.
