The Aggies missed scoring opportunities on their first two plays Saturday, and the miscues set the tone for a long evening. The offense struggled throughout the game, and the Bulldogs had little trouble moving the ball in route to a dominant win at Kyle Field.

Mississippi State quarterback Nick Fitzgerald must go down in Texas A&M lore as one of the Aggies’ greatest nemesis. The Bulldogs quarterback ran for a touchdown and passed for two more on Saturday night to deal the Aggies a 35-14 Southeastern Conference football defeat before an disappointed announced crowd of 96,128 at Kyle Field.

A&M’s defense actually did a reasonable job, but received minimal help from the offense.
