Shorthanded A&M squad to rely on newfound depth in season-opener

Depth is a big reason there is so much optimism for No. 25 Texas A&M this basketball season. That depth will be tested immediately.

The Aggies will rely heavily on their depth when they open the basketball season this afternoon in Germany against No. 11 West Virginia. 

They will open without projected starting forward Robert Williams and point guard J.J. Caldwell, who are sitting out due to suspensions. Williams will miss the first two regular season games.
