Aggies overcome sluggish start, blowout West Virginia in Germany, 88-65

Texas A&M started slow Friday night, trailing by as many as 13 points in the first half, but that didn't last long. D.J. Hogg and Admon Gilder came off the bench to combine for 42 points in the 23-point win over No. 11 West Virginia.

Great things are expected for Texas A&M this basketball season and the Aggies showed why on Friday night.

No. 25 A&M stormed back from an early 13-point deficit to overwhelm 11th-ranked West Virginia 88-65 in the Armed Forces Classic at Ramstein Air Force Base in Ramstein in Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany. More impressively, the Aggies were without projected starting sophomore forward Robert Williams and freshman point guard J.J. Caldwell, who are sitting out on suspensions.
