Buzzer-beater, free throw shooting doom Aggies in loss to LSU, 69-68

Texas A&M appeared to be on its way to its first SEC victory of the season, but a buzzer-beating three-pointer from Tremont Waters lifted LSU over the Aggies on Saturday. With two ranked opponents on the horizon, the Aggies sit at 0-3 in league play.

The old folks say tragedy comes in threes.

That certainly was the case on Saturday afternoon at Reed Arena.

LSU freshman guard Tremont Waters drilled a pair of NBA-range three-pointers in the final 12 seconds to deal the No. 11 Aggies (11-4, 0-3) their third straight Southeastern Conference basketball loss, 69-68.

Seconds after Tyler Davis failed to convert a pair of potential win-clinching free throws, Waters launched a deep shot over T.J.
