Aggies get back on track, use second half surge to beat Arkansas, 80-66

Texas A&M has known a lot of frustration over the last month, but for one night, it looked like the elite team that began the year. The Aggies exploded for 47 points in the second half en route to a victory over the Razorbacks.

A month of frustration seemed to be erased in a glorious five-minute offensive explosion in which the Aggies again — at least for a night — looked like an elite basketball team.

A barrage of three-pointers, an array of thunderous dunks and a strong defensive effort propelled Texas A&M to a much-needed, 80-66 Southeastern Conference victory over Arkansas before 8,761 fans Tuesday night at Reed Arena.
