Texas A&M slipped a notch closer to March sadness on Tuesday night.

In desperate need of a victory to boost their NCAA Tournament resume, the Aggies (17-11, 6-9 SEC) could not keep up with Mississippi State’s quickness and explosiveness in a 93-81 Southeastern Conference basketball loss at Reed Arena.

A&M’s third consecutive defeat rendered its fading hopes to participate in March Madness even more precarious.
