Aggies face road test at Vanderbilt with March Madness in mind

Texas A&M is still projected to make the NCAA Tournament field, but that could change if the Aggies get tripped up in Nashville. Vanderbilt has been strong at home, so A&M will need to play well to earn a win on the road.

To ensure they won’t be home for the NCAA Tournament, the Aggies must win on the road.

As if they needed more reason to worry.

Lately, just winning has been difficult for Texas A&M (17-11, 6-9 SEC), which is mired in a three-game skid. Winning on the road during Southeastern Conference play has been extremely rare. A&M has struggled to a 1-6 record on the road against league competition.

Three of the Aggies’ next four games will be played away from Reed Arena.
