Injured Duane Wilson still making impact for Sweet 16 bound Aggies

Senior point guard Duane Wilson may be injured, but he is still finding a way to make his presence felt in his last weeks wearing the maroon and white. He serves as another coach on the sidelines, mentoring freshman point guard TJ Starks as he navigates through the ups and downs of the postseason.

They all could empathize with Duane Wilson.

Once the Aggies starting point guard, a serious knee injury has rendered Wilson a spectator, cheerleader and sometimes advisor to freshman T.J. Starks.

He’ll be on the bench shouting encouragement when the Aggies (22-12) face Michigan (30-7) on Thursday night in Los Angeles in the Sweet Sixteen round of the NCAA Tournament.
