2020 Frisco Lone Star WR Marvin Mims enjoying plentiful recruiting process

The newcomer of the year in his district last year as a sophomore, wide receiver Marvin Mims has seen a slew of scholarship offers come his way in recent weeks. He has ties to A&M through his high school coach, and the Aggies offered him a few weeks ago.

The recruiting process can escalate quickly and offers can pile up in a hurry. Such is the case for Marvin Mims.

As a sophomore wide receiver at Frisco Lone Star, Mims was the Rangers' leading receiver with 1,175 yards and 12 TDs on 54 receptions. He earned offensive newcomer of the year honors and it did not take long for the scholarship offers to find him.

“It’s really been overwhelming,” Mims said.
