I went into this home opener extremely nervous. First games always scare me because they almost always consist of sloppy special teams play, busted assignments, missed tackles and turnovers resulting in overall bad football and unpredictable outcomes. Look no further than Auburn against Utah State or Notre Dame vs. South Florida to see my concerns played out in living color.
