A&M looks to repeat last year's regional success Friday against Indiana

Last year, the Aggies started their NCAA Tournament run as a three-seed and advanced all the way to the Omaha after defeating a Big 10 opponent in their opening game. They look to duplicate that run again this year, beginning tomorrow against the Indiana Hoosiers.

AUSTIN — Old folks like to say, “Oh, what a difference a year makes.”

No offense, but the Aggies hope those old folks are wrong.

A&M (39-20) is hoping to duplicate last year’s baseball regional success when it opens play on Friday against Indiana (38-17) in the Austin Regional of the NCAA Baseball Tournament.
