With a tough first month on the schedule, and a new head coach in tow, the Ags might struggle in year one under Fisher. That may be so, but according to some, Jimbo isn't far from bringing an elite brand of ball to Aggieland.

ATLANTA, Ga. —Nostradamus was a 15th century physician who could see the future. He accurately predicted cures for diseases, the deaths of world leaders and the result of wars.

Unlike an anonymous national college football writer who approached me in a hotel coffee shop on Wednesday morning, Nostradamus was never prophetic about college football. The writer, a twitter supporter of former A&M coach Kevin Sumlin, predicted Texas A&M would struggle to a 6-6 finish this season.
