Narrow loss to No. 2 Clemson leaves Aggies determined, not satisifed

Ultimately, Clemson came away with the win. There were missed calls and mistakes made, but Jimbo Fisher and the Aggies weren't making any excuses after the game, instead focusing on their mission to continue the climb toward consistency and excellence.

Kellen Mond paused for a split second. It was one of the few times the Texas A&M sophomore quarterback hesitated on Saturday night.

Then, in the post game press conference Mond delivered accurately just like he did so often in Texas A&M’s 28-26 loss to second-ranked Clemson.

Asked if he felt that A&M was the better team — at least on this night at Kyle Field — Mond was right on target.

“I always feel like we’re the better team,” Mond said.
