Loss to dominant Tide exposes what's still missing for Aggies

The Aggies gave up several big plays against No. 1 Alabama on Saturday afternoon. With demanding SEC opponents looming through the rest of the season, A&M will have to improve on multiple fronts to continue to compete.

If nothing else, the Aggies covered the point spread. But the 26-point underdogs didn’t cover much else in a 45-23 Southeastern Conference football loss to No. 1 Alabama on Saturday. Texas A&M’s defensive backs, who have been painfully susceptible to big plays in three previous games, were victims of a perfect storm.

And a near perfect quarterback.
