ARLINGTON — A Southwest Classic which once stood to be a thrilling preview of a future SEC West rivalry morphed into an essential contest for all the wrong reasons in the wake of the Oklahoma State game — with the latter a story of a brutal second-half collapse, the former became a must-win for A&M's season to stay on track.
