Texas A&M's season ends with 80-54 loss to Mississippi State in SEC Tournament

The Aggies' season was ended on Thursday night after losing to the Mississippi State Bulldogs 80-54 in the second round of the SEC Tournament. Savion Flagg led the Aggies in the loss, scoring 21 and grabbing 10 rebounds.

A bricked shot of a Texas A&M basketball season ended with an inauspicious thud on Thursday night as the 11th-seeded Aggies fell 80-54 to No. 6-seed Mississippi State in the second round of the Southeastern Conference Tournament in Nashville.

The loss also figures to end the 8-year tenure of coach Billy Kennedy, who reportedly will be fired. Kennedy will end his A&M tenure with a 151-116 record.
