"I think there are a lot of concerns to me," Saban said. "I think scheduling is an issue. I've been an advocate of playing more SEC games and Power 5 conference games. It would create more fan interest. Some of these games players don't want to play and fans don't want to see."

Okay, then. Explain to me your statement in No. 1. You say it would create fan interest, but then you turn around and say that "some of these games ...the fans don't want to see [them]." Hedging a bit?

Of course you don't like waivers (No. 2). They make it harder for you to recruit depth. But that affects everyone, not just you (even if you might be disproportionally affected). If an engineering student on a scholarship wants to go to another school that offers money, do you also object to that on the same principle?

The solution to No. 3 is to decrease the number of bowl games. This is not happening. What do you propose?
