High intensity weekend has more optimistic Fisher talking fast again

Texas A&M held a closed scrimmage on Sunday in which the Aggies got plenty of younger players action in key situations. While he admitted it wasn't perfect, Jimbo Fisher seemed pleased with the scrimmage as he continues to search for more consistency from his team.

Jimbo Fisher was talking fast again on Monday night. And that’s a good thing.

The football coach’s auctioneer-like cadence slowed down considerably last Thursday when he was disappointed with the Aggies’ lack of effort and focus.

But on further inspection, he’s changed his inflection.

Fisher indicated there has been more intensity and a higher sense of urgency in the ensuing practices, which included a scrimmage on Sunday.
