Aggie running backs ready to step up following injury to Jashaun Corbin

The Aggies suffered a difficult loss after Jimbo Fisher revealed that starting running back Jashaun Corbin would miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury. But Fisher is confident the rest of the RB corps is ready to perform at a high level.

Aggie head coach Jimbo Fisher announced on Monday that running back Jashaun Corbin, Texas A&M’s leading rusher, will miss the remainder of the season.

Corbin suffered a severe hamstring injury on a four-yard reception with 9:18 remaining in the third quarter of A&M’s 24-10 loss to No. 1 Clemson on Saturday.

A sophomore from Rockledge, Florida, Corbin has rushed for 137 yards and scored a touchdown this season.
