Aggies dispatch Lamar with No. 8 Auburn, other major tests looming

Running back Isaiah Spiller shined as the Aggies cruised to a 62-3 rout of Lamar on Saturday night, and there were other encouraging signs. There were also some questions that remained unanswered as A&M heads into a grueling SEC schedule.

Praise flows fast and deep following a blowout victory. For Texas A&M, it was rushing over the spillway on Saturday night.

Freshman running back Isaiah Spiller was lauded for a 116-yard rushing outburst. Freshman receiver Ainias Smith was hailed for his talent. Quarterback Kellen Mond was commended for his accurate passing. The smothering defense was applauded.
