A&M QB Kellen Mond vs Arkansas QB Nick Starkel

Two guys who won't share the field for a single snap but who will be linked for the duration of their college careers. Starkel won Kevin Sumlin's QB1 job prior to the 2017 season, beating out Mond and Jake Hubenak for the job. Mond took over after Nick went down in the season-opener but, as the true freshman struggled, Starkel earned his job back in late October. Sumlin was fired at season's end.
