As had been well-documented prior to Jimbo Fisher's arrival, a big part of the last regime never being able to ascend the SEC West ladder was regularly dropping games to Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The drumbeat resumed last year at about this time when Fisher's Aggies traveled to Starkville and were sent home with a 28-13 loss.
