Eight years ago, Alabama and LSU contested what amounted to a high-stakes wrestling match in which the most recognizable play involved a pass. That’s surely to be the case again Saturday afternoon when the No. 3 Crimson Tide and the No. 2 Tigers stage another sort of winner-take-all game. But unlike that game in 2011, the pass won’t be thrown by a wide receiver.
