The stretch run is here, as is the chill in the air that signifies the highest-stakes college football games of the year.

Week 12 lacks last Saturday’s showdowns between unbeatens, but it has the next best thing, with 9-0 Minnesota getting a test on the road and Baylor hosting preseason Big 12 favorite Oklahoma at home. Throw in a Georgia-Auburn game with major College Football Playoff implications, and it’s actually a pretty nice little Saturday. And there’s much more.
