Texas Bowl MVP Kellen Mond plays the hero in leading Aggies past Cowboys

The Aggies came out sloppy but ended the game victorious, taking down the Oklahoma State Cowboys, 24-21. QB Kellen Mond received MVP honors for his performance, leading the A&M to critical scores late in the contest.

Standing on a platform during the postgame celebration, Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond looked heroic in a slick black-felt Larry Mahan cowboy hat. The black hat was an award for being named Most Valuable Player in the Aggies’ 24-21 Texas Bowl football victory over No. 25 Oklahoma State (8-5).

A white hat would’ve been more appropriate.
