• A nice season-opening effort by the Aggie defense, particularly once they got settled in and made the necessary adjustments to facing a first-time quarterback and offensive coordinator. Vandy marched 60 yards on 13 plays for a field goal on their opening possession of the game. After that, the Commodores produced just 195 yards the rest of the way. For the game, the ‘Dore offense produced just 10 points and averaged a paltry 3.
