QB Kellen Mond

Consistency remains an issue with Mond. He made some outstanding throws in A&M’s 17-12 season-opening victory over Vanderbilt. However, his accuracy was also erratic at times.

The bigger issue was ball security, which has been a problem throughout his career. Mond lost two fumbles, and on another occasion, fumbled on an unconverted fourth-and-1 opportunity.
