The Turners, Elston and Ray, showed again for the Aggies, combining for 29 points to lead the team to an easy win at home on Wednesday night. David Loubeau also scored 11 as A&M improved to 7-1 on the year.

Khris Middleton didn't return to the lineup against Sam Houston State, and Kourtney Roberson's nagging ankle injury kept him out. That was about all that went wrong for A&M on Wednesday night.

The Aggies jumped out to a commanding early lead and held it, piecing together a complete performance on the strength of the Turners' scoring (again), a statement showing from Keith Davis and a killer instinct that had seemed dulled in previous contests.
