As the basketball season nears, the Texas A&M basketball program is not only preparing for the '20-'21 schedule, but Buzz and company are preparing for a bright future.

Today, the Aggies received a verbal commitment from Ashton Smith‍, a 6-foot, 9-inch, 220-pound power forward from Legacy the School of Sport Sciences.

Smith becomes the third commitment in the 2021 recruiting class, following verbal commitments from Manny Obaseki‍ and Wade Taylor‍.
