With the Herbstreits and Galloways of the world continuing to diminish the Aggies, the Maroon & White could send a huge message to their critics on Saturday night in the Orange Bowl. In fact, Texas A&M must win to chance the national media's perception.

The pompousness of Ohio State cheerleaders Kirk Herbstreit and Joey Galloway, who moonlight as ESPN college football analysts, was irksome. Their dismissiveness toward Texas A&M was infuriating.

You remember their narratives: Florida was better than A&M despite losing to the Aggies on October 10.

Then, the Aggies (8-1) weren’t winning impressively even though they beat six consecutive opponents by double figures.
