• Like the offense, this one was a mixed bag for the Maroon & White. On the plus side, Mike Elko's defense didn't allow Kent State to reach the end zone until midway through the fourth quarter and allowed just ten points while scoring seven of their own. You'd take the tradeoff anytime you take the field and twice on Sunda...err Saturdays. The A&M defense yielded 336 total yards and just 4.
