A&M CB Jaylon Jones vs. Alabama WR John Metchie

A couple of weeks ago, Jaylon and I talked about the Alabama game last fall, which stood out as a baptism by fire for a true freshman cornerback. In that contest, Jones was beaten for two scores, one of which was a 78-yard catch-and-run by Alabama speedster John Metchie.

Metchie finished with 181 yards in what turned out to be the Ags’ only loss of the season, and it’s something Jones hasn’t forgotten.
