• Tale of two halves for the Aggie defense, without question. MIke Elko's unit was carved up in the first half and completely locked Matt Corral and the Rebels up in the second, nearly pitching a shutout and playing about as well as imaginable versus an offense as explosive as Lane Kiffin's bunch. All told, the A&M defense allowed just 20 points to the Rebels, and seven of those came following a Zach Calzada interception that gave Corral, Jerrion Ealy and Co.
