'Expect not to sit': Shemar Stewart headed to Aggieland to make plays

Five-star defensive end Shemar Stewart put pen to the paper on Wednesday and signed with Texas A&M. By being the latest addition to the Aggies' No. 1-ranked class, Stewart is ready to get to College Station and work towards winning a national championship.

Wednesday morning, Miami (FL) Monsignor Pace five-star defensive end Shemar Stewart‍ felt a sense of relief as he let the world know his college decision.

The 6-foot-6, 275-pound defensive end is headed to Aggieland, choosing Texas A&M over fellow finalists, the national champion Georgia Bulldogs as well as the local Miami Hurricanes.

“I kind of had a feeling all along,” Stewart said. “I just had to wait until the date came around.
