Legendary KU came to Reed Arena for the last time in the foreseeable future on Wednesday, giving A&M a shot to defy the season's turmoils. Despite Dash Harris' return, the Jayhawks overpowered in the end.

For the briefest of moments, the stars seemed like they might align for the 2011-12 Texas Aggie basketball team. Despite all the injury, despite the depth issues and growing pains and the sheer attrition, everything seemed set to converge for a single night in Reed Arena.

Dash Harris returned to the floor after missing seven consecutive games with a foot injury, a stretch in which A&M showed clear wear and tear without its floor general.
