Southlake (TX) Carroll 2023 OT Drew Perez is quick to draw attention at 6-foot-7, 320-pounds, but has been flying under the radar. As college coaches are beginning to take notice, Perez took his first unofficial visit to Aggieland on Wednesday.

2023 Southlake (TX) Carroll offensive tackle Drew Perez‍ checks in at 6-foot-7 and 320-pounds, and he has coaches around the Dragon program buzzing.

Perez does not have much tape yet. He arrived in Southlake in 2020 and played TE on junior varsity. He moved to offensive tackle in 2021 and served as a backup. However, his size, athleticism and potential (he’s still only 16) have him primed for a big spring and summer.

College coaches are already asking questions.
