When freshman Brad Rudis took the baseball on Saturday, Texas A&M faced a 9-6 deficit against a Georgia lineup that looked poised to drop 15 or 20 runs to clinch a series victory in Athens.

Instead, the right-hander from just up the road in Madisonville cruised through the talented Bulldog hitters like a seasoned vet on his way to throwing four shutout innings.
