'I was happy about it': 2025 TE Davon Mitchell receives Texas A&M offer

2025 Allen (TX) TE Davon Mitchell checks in at 6-foot-4, 226 pounds, and he is quickly turning heads. Texas A&M has already extended an offer, and Mitchell spoke to TexAgs about the Aggie offer, the beginning of his recruiting process and his spring and summer plans.

It was obvious at first glance that the recruiting momentum could build in a hurry for 2025 Allen (TX) TE Davon Mitchell‍. 

At 6-foot-4 and 226 pounds, Mitchell was quick to catch the eye on the sidelines of Allen Eagle varsity games. He was already a standout at the sub-varsity level, and the buzz could already be heard around the program. 

This spring has vaulted him into the spotlight.
