Notes from "Around the Horn" with Rob Childress

* If the team isn’t going to sweep somebody, then the best way to win a series is coming back with two complete games after an emotional loss. It was important to play better on Saturday and Sunday because they were at home and it was the start of Big 12 play.

* The series this past weekend was a test of toughness.
