A&M commit Jayvon Thomas' return helps Golden Bears secure playoff win

Dallas (TX) South Oak Cliff standout Jayvon Thomas returned to action on Friday night in time for the playoffs. The Golden Bears were able to capture a 12-7 win in the first round, and afterward, Thomas spoke about his return, colleges in pursuit and his A&M commitment.

Friday night at Kincaide Stadium, defending 5A Division II state champion Dallas South Oak Cliff took the field, and for the first time this fall, so did standout 2023 Texas A&M commit Jayvon Thomas‍.

Thomas has been out due to nagging injuries this fall, but after rest and rehab, he is back in action right in time for the playoffs and South Oak Cliff’s first-round 12-7 win over Mansfield Summit.
