After a 64-63 win over then-No.15 TCU, the Demons rattled off another six wins in a row. On the other hand, Northwestern State has suffered a couple of bad losses, the most recent being from the Rice Owls in a 110-73 lopsided defeat.

Northwestern State is a team that has found success by controlling the tempo of games.
