On Monday, Texas A&M welcomed a commitment from Hattiesburg (MS) in Oak Grove QB AJ Maddox, and the new Aggie pledge has already made sure to begin recruiting one of his longtime friends and teammate PJ Woodland, who also holds an offer from A&M.

Texas A&M is getting pretty familiar with Hattiesburg (MS) Oak Grove these days.

Earlier this week, the Aggies received a commitment from 2024 standout quarterback AJ Maddox‍, and one of his prime recruiting targets since committing is none other than teammate PJ Woodland‍.

“My quarterback just committed there, AJ Maddox, so my impressions are it’s going to be a great environment,” Woodland said.
